Aufgabengebiet
  • scientific service in research with the LHCf experiment, as a member of the Experimental High Energy Physics Group (HEP) of Professor Cigdem Issever
Anforderungen
  • completed university degree in physics or a related field with a specialization in elementary particle physics, astroparticle physics or astrophysics (with an above-average degree)
  • willingness to undertake research stays in Japan and at CERN
  • ability to work in a structured and independent manner
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • very good written and spoken English
  • experience in data analysis and programming, in dealing with statistical and Monte Carlo methods and GEANT4 is desirable
