Job description:

• scientific services in research within the interdisciplinary excellence initiative MATH+ especially at the intersection of statistics, optimization and applications
• development of novel methodology in statistics and optimization
• investigation of theoretical questions as well as applications (e.g. in the social sciences) to model and analyze collective decision making procedures

Requirements:

• completed scientific university degree in the field of mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics or related fields
• PhD desired
• expertise in statistics and optimization
• good command of written and spoken English is mandatory
