Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences – Department of Chemistry

Aufgabengebiet
  • Scientific services in research in the "Sinergia" project, in particular for the optimization of the bioprinting process
  • Design and synthesis of photoswitchable molecules for the application in a biological environment
  • Development of suitable polymer matrices and photo resins for bio-3D printing
  • Tasks for own scientific qualification (PhD)
Anforderungen
  • Completed scientific university Master’s degree with a specialization in organic chemistry, synthetic materials chemistry or related fields, all with relevant experience in experimental work
  • In-depth knowledge of organic synthesis and spectroscopic (possibly microscopic) characterization of molecular materials mandatory
  • Good theoretical background in optical spectroscopy and data interpretation required
  • Experience in photochemistry and 3D printing are advantageous
  • Experience with standard software such as ChemDraw and data analysis tools like Origin are a plus
  • Very good verbal and written English skills mandatory
