Job description:

  • scientific research services in the project RYCAM (Rural Youth Climate Action Movement in Indonesia) on net-zero farming, rural youth movement, climate field schools, agroecopreneurship business models
  • project management and coordination (e. g. coordination of forwarding contracts, coordination meetings, reporting)
  • conceptual work and quality management of work package 4: Start-up support and political mainstreaming with NGOs and universities in Indonesia
  • tasks for your own scientific qualification qualification (PhD)

 

Requirements:

  • completed scientific university degree in agricultural economics, environmental protection, geography, social sciences or a related subject
  • knowledge of agroecology and climate change adaptation in the agricultural sector
  • interest in participatory interdisciplinary research with rural youth and smallholder farmers
  • knowledge of project planning and management
  • good understanding of working with NGOs
  • regional experience in Southeast Asia
  • very good command of English
  • confident handling of social media and apps
  • of advantage:
    • knowledge of innovation research net-zero farming
    • experience in the organisation of challenges
    • work experience in Indonesia
    • German language skills
    • basic knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia
