Job description:

  • scientific service in research in the field of transport physics (NWG/Dragonics project)
  • developing theory and scientific software related to electron and phonon transport within the elphbolt code
  • carrying out ab initio calculations on high-performance computing clusters
  • supporting collaborations with partner experimental/theory groups
  • computational resource acquisition

 

Requirements:

  • completed scientific university education and PhD in physics or a related field
  • full professional proficiency in English
  • a strong background in theoretical/computational solid-state physics
  • proven record in scientific software development in a language like Fortran 2018, C, or Julia
  • familiarity with the elphbolt code
