• Scientific services in research within the framework of the junior research group ‘resilient urban landscapes in global change’, which will establish a science–policy interface for municipal biodiversity conservation and climate adaptation with nature-based solutions
• Processing and evaluation of remote sensing data, including methods of computer vision
• Statistical evaluation of municipal secondary data
• Participation in workshops and other participatory processes
• Supervision of students
• Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary cooperation in a junior research group
• Close cooperation with cooperation partners in statistical data evaluation
• Publication and presentation of results in international scientific journals and at Conferences
• Tasks for own scientific qualification (doctorate)

• Completed scientific university degree in geography, (geo)informatics, landscape ecology or comparable disciplines
• Profound knowledge of GIS software, programming languages such as R or
• Python, and word processing and spreadsheet programs
• Very good data processing skills, ideally with a focus on remote sensing
• Very good written and spoken English and German (each at least B2)
• Experience in working with municipal decision-makers is a great advantage
• High degree of independence, commitment, flexibility, resilience and ability to work in a team
• General interest in socio-ecological issues in urban planning and urban research is expected
