• Scientific services in research within the framework of the junior research group ‘resilient urban landscapes in global change’, which will establish a science–policy interface for municipal biodiversity conservation and climate adaptation with nature-based solutions
• Planning, coordination and implementation of workshops, surveys and other
• participation processes
• Statistical evaluation of primary data from surveys and participation processes as well as municipal secondary data
• Evaluation of remote sensing data
• Supervision of students
• Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary cooperation in a junior research group
• Close cooperation with cooperation partners in statistical data analysis
• Publication and presentation of results in international scientific journals and at conferences
• Tasks for own scientific qualification (doctorate)

• Completed scientific university degree in geography, landscape ecology, urban sociology or comparable disciplines
• Profound knowledge of GIS software as well as word processing and spreadsheet programs
• Knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python desirable
• Experience in organizing workshops is desirable
• Very good written and spoken English and German (each at least B2)
• Experience in working with municipal decision-makers is a great advantage
• High degree of independence, commitment, flexibility, resilience and ability to work in a team
• General interest in socio-ecological issues in urban planning and urban research is expected
