- Aufgabengebiet
- Scientific services in research within the framework of the junior research group ‘resilient urban landscapes in global change’, which will establish a science–policy interface for municipal biodiversity conservation and climate adaptation with nature-based solutions
- Planning, coordination and implementation of workshops, surveys and other
- participation processes
- Statistical evaluation of primary data from surveys and participation processes as well as municipal secondary data
- Evaluation of remote sensing data
- Supervision of students
- Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary cooperation in a junior research group
- Close cooperation with cooperation partners in statistical data analysis
- Publication and presentation of results in international scientific journals and at conferences
- Tasks for own scientific qualification (doctorate)
- Anforderungen
- Completed scientific university degree in geography, landscape ecology, urban sociology or comparable disciplines
- Profound knowledge of GIS software as well as word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python desirable
- Experience in organizing workshops is desirable
- Very good written and spoken English and German (each at least B2)
- Experience in working with municipal decision-makers is a great advantage
- High degree of independence, commitment, flexibility, resilience and ability to work in a team
- General interest in socio-ecological issues in urban planning and urban research is expected
