Job description:

  • scientific services in research in the cooperative DFG project: “Contrast Agents” (in collaboration with M. Brecht, BCCN Berlin)
  • design, synthesis, and characterization of new bimodal neural tracers and CT contrast agents

 

Requirements:

  • completed university degree with a specialization in organic chemistry or related fields, all with relevant experience in experimental work
  • in-depth practical knowledge of organic synthesis required
  • good theoretical background in optical spectroscopy and data interpretation desirable
  • experience in the fields of photochemistry and in the use of standard chemical software and evaluation tools such as ChemDraw and Origin is an advantage
  • very good written and spoken English skills required (at least B2)
