Job description:

  • scientific service in research in the BMBF project “SIB:DE”, in particular in the field of sodium-ion batteries
  • preparation and characterization of carbon materials and carbon/metal composites
  • investigations into dendrite formation in Na-ion batteries
  • construction and measurement of electrodes

 

Requirements:

  • completed scientific university education in the field of chemistry, materials research or electrochemistry
  • PhD in the field of chemistry, materials research or electrochemistry desired
  • experience with the synthesis and characterization of solids
  • experience in the field of sodium ion or lithium ion batteries is an advantage
  • very good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
  • ability to work on an interdisciplinary topic with different partners
  • organizational talent and ability to work in a team
