Job description:

  • scientific services in research and teaching in the field of molecular biology and epitranscriptomics
  • tasks for own scientific qualification (extension of previous specialization)
  • extension of the professional breadth in the field of modification of tRNAs in yeasts and bacteria, in particular molecular biological investigations of RNA modifications, use of biochemical and molecular biological methods in combination with bioinformatic evaluation

 

Requirements:

  • completed scientific university degree and PhD in biology, biochemistry or related discipline
  • proven experience in the field of tRNA modifications and nanopore sequencing
  • at least one first-author publication in an internationally recognized journal
  • good command of written and spoken English (at least C1)
