Job description:

  • scientific services in research and teaching in the field of Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry: bioorganic synthesis, fluorescence-labelled DNA- and PNA-conjugates, conjugation chemistry, nucleic acid detection in homogenous solution and in situ, opt. spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry
  • tasks for own scientific qualification (doctorate)

 

Requirements:

  • completed scientific university degree (with preferably very good grades) in (bio)organic chemistry
  • theoretical and practical experience in peptide chemistry, nucleic acid chemistry and knowledge of bioassays are beneficial
  • experience and knowledge of fluorescence spectroscopy/imaging is desired
  • very good command of written and spoken English (at least B2)
  • openness to interdisciplinary research projects in the field of natural sciences and high motivation for independent scientific work
  • very good communication and teamwork skills
