Job description:
- Tasks in research within the research project "Globalization in the Eastern Mediterranean. Tell Keisan between Israel, Phoenicia and Egypt" and in the teaching and research field “Palestinian Archaeology”
- Active collaboration and organizational co-supervision of the excavation campaigns in August 2023, August 2024 and August 2025 (4 weeks each)
- Tasks for own scientific qualification (doctorate)
Requirements:
- Completed studies of Near Eastern archaeology, Classical archaeology (or comparable) or theology with a discernible focus in biblical archaeology
- very good knowledge of German
- very good knowledge of English or Hebrew
- Good (self-)organizational skills and willingness to work independently in a scientific manner
