  • scientific tasks within a research project: altered states of consciousness as a therapy tool can be accessed in a variety of ways, including by psychedelics. One of the least studied approaches is circular breathwork- a breathing technique based on voluntary hyperventilation. In this project, we aim for the first time conduct a rigorous neurocognitive study exploring the mental health effects of circular breathwork on naive participants with a history of childhood trauma

  • university degree in psychology, medicine, neuroscience or related studies
  • experience in empirical research
  • very good knowledge of statistics
  • very good German language skills (min. B2)
  • very good written and spoken English
  • high level of independence and self‐organisation
  • desirable are further:
  • PhD/Doctorate
  • experience with electrophysiological measurements (EEG) or imaging procedures (e.g. MRT)
  • experience in the implementation and/or execution of clinical‐interventional studies
  • knowledge in the field of diagnostics and treatment of mental disorders
