Aufgabengebiet
  • Scientific service in research and teaching with focus on statistics in the context of empirical language research
  • tasks for your own scientific qualification (doctorate)
Anforderungen
  • Completed university degree in psychology, cognitive science, statistics, linguistics, natural sciences, or related fields
  • Very good knowledge of R or SPSS, SAS or similar programs
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and modeling
  • Proficiency in advanced analysis of quantitative data (e. g., analysis of frequencies of words and constructions, various multifactorial models, analysis of acoustic measures, reaction times, binary and Likert scale data, eye-tracking data using state-of-the-art descriptive and inferential statistical techniques; visualization of data)
  • The / the employee* is expected to be familiar with and advise on state-of-the-art descriptive and inferential statistical methods in the field of empirical language research
  • Experience in empirical research
  • Excellent command of English is a must
  • German language expertise is desirable in the context of advising students
