Job Description:

  • Research in the field of bio-organic chemistry and cell biological studies
  • determination of properties of the hydrogel layer on healthy and infected lung epithel by developing a new method for labeling protein and glycan cell surface molecules with responsive fluorescent dyes
  • cloning and expression of tagged membrane proteins in human cell lines
  • solid phase peptide synthesis and conjugation chemistry
  • fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry

 

Requirements:

  • completed Master and PhD in the field of bio-organic chemistry, chemical biology or biochemistry
  • practical experience in chemical synthesis, cell biological studies, protein labeling, fluorescence imaging desirable
  • very good written and spoken English skills
  • ability to do interdisciplinary work and transdisciplinary communication
