• completed scientific university studies (Master degree) and PhD in physics
• experience with infrared/THz optics, semiconductor lasers, laser spectroscopy
• the ability to work in a structured and independent manner
• excellent problem-solving skills
• excellent team and communication skills
• excellent language skills (min. C1) in German or English
